I figured that my first non-introduction post should be to explain my concept for a TTRPG that I wish to develop.
I ADORE the Perseus Jackson and the Olympians book series (the movie, though, would've been better if I had never read the books) more than any other children's series out on the market today. If you have not read them yet, here's the basic storyline:
The main character is, obviously, Perseus Jackson, who discovers that he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon and is whisked away to a summer camp with the other children of the Greek gods. He goes on adventures with Annabeth, the daughter of Athena, and Grover the Saytr. Eventually they end up fighting a war against Cronos, the old king of the gods and ruler of the Titans. It's an intriguing series that I think would amount to a great TTRPG.
The general concept is that every character is either a creature from Greek mythology (either a Nymph, Dryad or Saytr, mostly) or a child of the gods. Then you form your party and go on adventures. Right now I'm working out the statistics of the different God-Children (or half-bloods as they're called in the books) and the skill sets they can take. Adventures will come after I figure this all out.
Stat-wise, I'm most likely going to use the simple "mind/body/spirit" system of the old El-Hazard TTRPG that I used to love, and the only die we will worry about is a D6. Keep it simple for my first time, y'know.
So there will be updates on this as I come up with more!
Shade and sweet water to you all!
