Monday Bloody Mondaaaay....

Yep, it's Monday. At least my school week starts off with ancient history. We'll get to learning about... oh yeah, I'm starting my paper this week. An easy two-page paper on Epicurus. A snap.

Oh well, I'm not here to talk about my everyday works. I'm working on my D&D campaign, most likely on the continent of Elmiria, which I have no idea as to how to map the place. Nortruta is decently mapped, Salmenia is mapped the best of all, and Metroski doesn't really need much mapping. But Elmiria, the mysterious eastern continent that follows the greek gods. And Raitnan, but I'll work on Raitnan later. That's just a random-ass island that needed a name.

This is the basics of what I need for that continent:

An enchanted forest
A capitol city
A small wood

Other than that, it's all very fertile fields. I'll update on what happens there.

Godchild: An Intro

I figured that my first non-introduction post should be to explain my concept for a TTRPG that I wish to develop.
I ADORE the Perseus Jackson and the Olympians book series (the movie, though, would've been better if I had never read the books) more than any other children's series out on the market today. If you have not read them yet, here's the basic storyline:

The main character is, obviously, Perseus Jackson, who discovers that he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon and is whisked away to a summer camp with the other children of the Greek gods. He goes on adventures with Annabeth, the daughter of Athena, and Grover the Saytr. Eventually they end up fighting a war against Cronos, the old king of the gods and ruler of the Titans. It's an intriguing series that I think would amount to a great TTRPG.

The general concept is that every character is either a creature from Greek mythology (either a Nymph, Dryad or Saytr, mostly) or a child of the gods. Then you form your party and go on adventures. Right now I'm working out the statistics of the different God-Children (or half-bloods as they're called in the books) and the skill sets they can take. Adventures will come after I figure this all out.

Stat-wise, I'm most likely going to use the simple "mind/body/spirit" system of the old El-Hazard TTRPG that I used to love, and the only die we will worry about is a D6. Keep it simple for my first time, y'know.

So there will be updates on this as I come up with more!

Shade and sweet water to you all!

Oh My! A random encounter!

Hello there! I am Kaylove, writer for The Lost Cake, a game blog run by my brother's friend. And I apologise, but I lied. I am a gamer. A TABLETOP gamer, that is. That blog is video game based, though, so I started my own. I'll be talking about my TTRPG adventures, as well as adventures on the wonderful chat website Omegle.

So now, a little of my roleplaying history:

I am an experienced forum roleplayer, having been one for about eight years now, and I am always interested in a new one if it's small with a developed storyline.
My journeys into the realms of tabletop roleplaying are recent, my first Dungeons and Dragons campaign being last year. In that campaign I journeyed across the land as Ana-Lii Belacqua, the human bard. She was flighty, absent-minded, and a yeller-bellied coward, but her kindness showed no limits.
I am in the midst of writing up a campaign, as well as working on the stats for my very own TTRPG that I hope to have on the internet some time in the distant future.

Well until we meet again, shade and sweet water to you all!
